Citizens for responsible zoning in West Seneca

The people must be able to remain informed if they are to retain control over those who are their public servants. The NY Open Meetings Law requires public bodies to make records available online at least 24 hours before an open meeting if they are scheduled for discussion, provided they are already subject to FOIL and are maintained on a website with a high-speed internet connection. (New York's Public Officers Law (PBL) § 103(e)). The West Seneca Planning Board has already been found to have violated this provision by the Appellate Division, Fourth Department in Matter of Warren v Planning Bd. of the Town of W. Seneca 2024 NY Slip Op 01622 Decided on March 22, 2024 ("While we agree with petitioner that the Planning Board violated the Open Meetings Law when it failed to place the SEQRA negative declaration and parts 2 and 3 of the full environmental assessment form “on [its] website to the extent practicable at least [24] hours prior to the [public meeting adopting the negative declaration]” (Public Officers Law § 103 [e]),")

A request of Studio T3, PLLC for site plan approval for property located at 484 Harlem Road to permit an expansion of the existing building and parking lot.

SPR2025-005

A request of Devil's Lettuce for site plan approval for property located at 650 Orchard Park Road to permit an additional pedestal sign.
